Moving to Utah....

It is crazy to be moving to Utah on such a whim. I am so excited but sad at the same time!! The girls and I are moving to Utah on Feb. 21 and Trevor is staying here until August (unless Ogden or Salt Lake PD call him to offer him a job). So we are now at a crossroads and wondering where exactly to go. I can't wait to be able to hang out with my family and friends there but I will miss me friends here; who have become my family away from home. I love you guys!!!

I had to take pictures of my vinyls because they are staying here. :( I love the girls wall!! Thoughs are all three girls handprints.

Little Elizabeth Capri returns home to Heavenly Father

After almost 3 days of fighting, little Capri returned back to Heavenly Father. Kelley and Kalin are doing pretty well considering. Her little funeral was on Tuesday Jan. 20 and Trevor, the girls, and I all drove to Utah to attend. What a happy and sad time it was! To see such a tiny little angel lying on the table as we went in to get her dressed on Tuesday morning was hard but we know that we will see her again.
Our prayers as a family will be with Kelley and Kalin during this time. We don't know the pain they are going through but can only imagine. We love you Kell and Kalin and hope you know that we are here for you!!!!

New Neice!!!

Baby Capri decide she wanted to come quite early. Her due date was March 17 but decided to come on Jan. 13. She was 4 lbs 12 oz and 14? in long. Poor Kelley and Kalin were practically alone but I guess everything went ok!! She will most likely be in the NICU for 5 weeks at least. Her is a pic of her. Quality is not that great but you can see her with Kell and Kalin. Got this on my cell phone.

It all comes down to now

Lately, I have been struggling with the fact that I don't do enough or don't do things right. Especially when it comes to housework and dinner preparation. I feel this overwhelming pressure to have the perfectly clean house and the best meals ever. But you know what I have finally figured out, it doesn't matter.

My children are so cute! They always say I make the best food. Even if it is mac & cheese and hot dogs. :) I have decided to change my focus and work on being there for my girls. It will be hard to let the house be dirty but I figure "how many times are my kids going to say, "our house was always clean" as opposed to "my mom was always putting us first and playing with us". Personally looking back on my childhood, I don't really remember if the house was always clean. I do remember my mom hangin out with us and going shopping and being there to talk. That is what is most important. I will eventually figure out how to juggle everything, but I am still young with 3 kids at home.

So for now - the house will be dirty. But I will enjoy playing with my girls while they still want to play.
