Golfing

Did anyone else get to see the U.S. Open on Monday the 16th? It was amazing to watch Tiger Woods and Rocco Mediate go back and forth for the win. It inspired us to go hit a few balls. so yesterday, Friday, we took the girls to Twin Creeks in Salinas to have fun at the driving range. At first Taeli didn't want to golf until she saw how much fun Shea was having. She then came over and starting hitting all the of the balls about 10+ feet. She is a natural. Shea kept getting "tired" and sitting on the grass to watch. It was fun but very hot. I think it got up in the 90s in Salinas. After we hit all the balls, Taeli wanted to buy some golf clubs they had in the club house. Of course, they were pink and black in a pink and black golf bag. She wanted to get a kitty to put on her driver too. Girls are so funny! If you love pink you should spend some time with my girls. They all wear pink everyday.
We also went to see Kung Fu Panda. I highly reccommend it! It is pretty funny and the girls loved it.

Wildfire around King City, CA

We have had fires around here before but this is the first time that I have been this close. It was very cool to see the sun turn red as the smoke blew over our house this afternoon. Kind of freaky though. The fire is about 40 or so miles away.

Babies....

Here is lunch. Looks yummy huh?

After nap she decided to have some fun.

Here is my dancing Baby, Jess! She always dances!!

Here is what she decided to do after dancing.

Eat a bug (eeewwwwwww!!!)....

and a magazine (fiber :))....

and cry when mommy took them away :(.

Then she stood all by herself. :D Big girl!!!

And all it about 10 minutes. Babies are SO busy!

Moving (for Laurie) :)

I just thought I would throw in my bit on moving. We too are moving again; out to Prunedale on the north side of Salinas. This will be our 6th move in 5 1/2 years of marriage. I HATE MOVING!! The good thing about this move is that it won't take me 30 min. one way to take the girls to school or to go to Target or Costco. It will only be five. We are really hoping that this will be our last move for a while so that Taeli can feel secure starting Kindergarten next fall.

She was supposed to start this fall because of the age cut off being in December and her birthday is in October, but I heard from SEVERAL people that they liked it better keeping their kids out for one more year. Trevor and I decided it would be a lot better for her to be one of the oldest instead of the youngest. She is a little on the shy side and I want her to feel happy about school and not be pressured into following those around her. She will be the same age as when Amy (my sis) started so I think she will do great.

Anyway, moving sucks! The one good thing is that you don't accumulate a lot of crap because you have a yard sale or donate stuff every time. :)

Friends

I am sitting here reading some of my friends pages and missing them terribly because I don't see them anymore. I wish I were better at keeping in touch. I have a million and one excuses I could use but I have no real excuse for not keeping in touch with good friends. So for all of you that I have not kept in touch with I say sorry and that I truly do think of you everyday!!! I miss talking to people I know and trust and just chatting with the girls. I especially feel bad because I feel as if I have been proud and want a lot and not giving much. My goal for the rest of this year is to give as much as I can. I love you all and wish I could see you all more often!!!

GIRLS!!!!

Have you ever wondered what makes girls tick?

I wouldn't call myself an expert on girls because my oldest is only 4 1/2 years old. But I do have some know how on the subject. My girls are so goofy! I have three and they are all very different.

Taeli, my 4 1/2 year old, is my little professor. She learns everything very fast. She loves to play dress up but she also loves to draw and write words. She is constently asking my husband and me how to spell a word she doesn't know.

Shea is 3 and 3 months and loves to play on the computer. She would probably stay on the computer or in front of the tv all day if I let her. She doesn't really care for running around or exherting herself too much. She also has the same personality of my husband and they clash all the time. They are both very stubborn and not willing to give in to eachother.

Jessalynn is the baby right now. She is 9 months old and thinks that everything should go her way but she does let me show her new things to play with. She is a VERY curious girl. She explores everything and everything goes in her mouth including peoples toes. :) She will be our dare devil. She goes head first off of the couch and thinks it is funny. She will be keeping Trevor and me on our toes.

It still astonishes me that even though they are all girls, they are all very different. I have noticed they are a lot alike too. They all love to dress up and play with babies and be little mommies. They also all love to learn new things. Most of the time they listen too.
Well, that's all for now.
More to come!!
