Merry Christmas Eve!!!

Merry Christmas to All!!! We made cookies for Santa and Jess wanted to eat them all. We took a fam pic in our new pjs. Jess wanted to sit in front of Shea. It was cute!!!

TREVOR is 30!!!!!

Happy Birthday, Honey!!! We threw him a surprise party on Wed night. It was Superman themed but I am not sure he was totally surprised. I felt bad because only two other families could make it, but he said he had a lot of fun. Thanks to Laurie and crew and Jeanette and fam for coming!!!!

Reason for the Season!!

Taeli and Shea had their Christmas program for school on Tuesday. They were so cute!! I was in tears!! But then, I am always in tears when my girls perform!! I love you, girls!!!

What I have been working on for the past few days....

I love Christmas!!!!! Especially the lights!!! Here is the beginning of what are house looks like. It is not quite done but is off to a good start!! We also bought one of those things that make the lights dance to the music. It is a must see!!!!!

Thanksgiving and Daddy's Birthday Present

This year for Thanksgiving we decided to surprise Trevor's Grandparents and go to Idaho. 16 hours later we arrived in Shelley. The day after we got there Trevor saw an ad in the paper for Golden Retriever puppies. Trevor has wanted one for a while, so, for his birthday, we went to look at them and instantly fell in love with Rigby! (named after the town he was born in) We are now trying to house train a puppy. Yippee. He is actually doing pretty good. This picture of Jess kissing him is my favorite!!!

On Thanksgiving Day, Trevor went to play football with some buddies from High School. Here he is catching and running with the football. Go, Honey, Go!!!

We then had Thanksgiving with Trevor's Grandparents and Trudi, his sister, and 7 dogs. Two were ours, three were Trudi's, and two were Grandma and Grandpa's. What a full House!!! It was lots of fun though.

Birthday Party Fun!!!

Taeli's 5th birthday party was lots of fun. The kids all enjoyed playing together!! Taeli loved having her friends over. Thanks to everybody who came!!!!

Taeli Turns 5!!!!

I can't believe my baby turned 5 today!!! The day started out with cinnamon rolls, eggs, and sausage. She then got to pass out chocolate chip muffins that I made at school. We picked her up early and took her to Chuck-E-Cheese's for lunch. After that we went to Swank Farms to the Spookley Corn Maze, fed the goats and jumped on the big pillow. Then came home and dressed up in her Gabriella stuff and played with her barbies she got for her birthday. I think she had a great day!!! All day she kept saying "I am so excited for my birthday!". I love her so much and can't believe how big she has gotten! What an awesome little lady she is becoming!! We love you Taeli!!

She got A LOT of High School Musical stuff from the Fam and she was thrilled. Thanks Family for all the presents!!!!

I swear she says "cheese" at the end!! A must watch!!

Airplanes, Monster Corndogs, and Jet Powered Outhouses, oh my!

I wasn't going to do it because Trevor was working. I didn't want to take the girls to the airshow in Salinas all by myself. Then I decided I really wanted to go and see it. All the years I lived in Utah and near the Airforce base, we had never actually gone to the airshow. So I thought since Trevor was working at the airshow then it wouldn't be so bad. We actually had a lot of fun!! The girls, especially Taeli, loved watching the airplanes. If you asked her she would tell you her favorite part was the Thunderbirds zooming and crossing eachother's paths. Jess actually fell asleep right before the Thunderbirds and slept through the whole thing! What a fun day we had! I am glad I did it even though it was tough being the only adult. Hats off to the girls for being very good and staying right by my side all day!!

"Keep Moving Forward"

Have you ever seen the movie "Meet the Robinson's"? It is one of my favorite movies. I love it because it teaches that no matter what happened in the past you need to "keep moving forward". Walt Disney said this. What a brilliant and smart man he was. I have been thinking a lot about this quote because there is a lot of things that have happened in my past that I would really like to let go of. Many of you know what they are. I just feel like I am pulling a lot of people down when I talk about my feelings because I seem so negative but in reality it is very cleansing for me to talk to people about how I feel.

I don't know how to express myself and focus on the positive. I am trying to work on it and I have come to realize that it is a concious effort that needs to be made every morning of every day or I start to bring myself and everyone around me down. I don't mean to, it just seems to happen. I feel like I push everyone away because I don't want to do that to them.

A little over a year ago I went out with some friends to just get ice cream. That was one of the best days of my life because we just got to sit and talk and get things that were bugging us out in the open. Husbands just don't understand why we talk so much but I really think that it is a kind of therapy. Sometimes husbands just don't fill that need. Girl talk is essential to being healthy psychologically!!

Jess in One-Year-Old!!!

I CANNOT believe that it has been a year since our baby was born!!!! Look how cute she is!! :) She is SOOO independant and wanting to do things on her own already. She also wants to be just like her sisters. She copies everything they do. I am so lucky to be a mom to such wonderful girls!!!
